The conference  presentations were the first part of the theoretical second day of the workshop. The lecturers were invited in accordance of the aims of our project:

We had two lectures from the domain of education and about  NQF system, we had a very detailed presentation about the Romanian folk costumes especially beaded jewellery and their symbolism then at last but not least a marketing presentation by a university professor how to sell our product and give a face to each of our handmade work.

The presentation were as follows:

  • Szilárd Dáné, Representative of County Inspectorate, High School teacher about the Romanian Education Problems and Achievements.

  • Erzsébet Lukács, Director of the County Department of the Ministry of Labour about the NQF and


  • Gábor Kolumbán, honorary associate professor. Field of interest: community developer

  • Tekla Tötszegi –museologist-ethnographer at the Ethnographic Museum of Transylvania in Cluj-Napoca.

Title: Traditional Beaded Jewellery and Beadwork


The lectures were interesting as the presenters had to answer to several questions. We hope it was a chance to get an insight in our education and folklore.
